Running can be extremely hard on the body and without going the extra “mile” and recovering, many of us are prone to injury. Introduction to Injury Prevention with Dr. Micah A. Wells will address the source of common trigger points for runners and how to be proactive through recovery to stave off easily avoidable injuries.

Dr. Micah A. Wells is a licensed physical therapist in the DMV area, specializing in manual therapy, dry needling, event coverage, and return-to-sports rehabilitation for sports and orthopedic injuries. Micah is currently an active member of the American Academy of Sports Physical Therapy Section of the American Physical Therapy Association. This fall, Micah will begin Fellowship training focused on advanced and innovative treatments for athletes as a Sports and Orthopedic Fellow with the Institute of Athlete Regeneration.
