Built by crews.Funded to move.
Season Zero begins with a direct investment in the run crews building culture, access, and community from the ground up.
A fund connected to participation.
The Community Fund is part of the RD1 Season Zero launch. Crews enter the network, build a verified profile, participate in Season Zero, and become eligible to apply for funding that advances running in their city.

Enter. Participate. Apply. Build.
The fund should reward meaningful participation in the RD1 ecosystem, not one-time entry for a chance to win.
Founding Entry
Crews submit their profile, city, leadership contact, reach, and community work.
Season Zero
Crews participate through races, community activity, storytelling, or network programming.
Grant Application
Eligible crews submit a focused project plan, budget, timeline, and intended outcomes.
Award + Report
Selected projects receive funding and share implementation updates through the dashboard.
Start with your crew profile.
This short interest form can collect initial demand. The primary application button can then route crews to a full Google Form, Airtable form, or Squarespace form.
Express crew interest
Concept note: this demo stores entries only in the visitor's browser. Connect the final version to Google Forms, Airtable, Jotform, or a Squarespace Form Block for live submissions.
Is the $10,000 fund currently guaranteed?
This concept is designed to track a target fund while founding partner support is secured. Public language should clearly distinguish the funding goal from committed funding until a sponsor agreement is signed.
Does entering Season Zero guarantee grant eligibility?
No. Crews should complete the participation and profile requirements before they can submit a full grant application.
Can smaller crews participate?
Yes. Evaluation should consider community need, feasibility, impact, and readiness rather than social audience or crew size alone.
How will projects be selected?
The recommended model uses published scoring criteria, an independent review panel, and a limited community vote for the People's Choice award.
