your goal.
By the end of four weeks, you should feel ready to complete a 5K at a comfortable, conversational pace.
before you come.
DRC is a community run, not a formal beginner training program. To have the best experience, we recommend that first-time runners are able to move for at least 20-30 minutes and complete roughly 1 mile using a run/walk approach before joining a group run.
Our Cruisers group is designed for newer runners and run/walkers, but we expect participants to be able to hold a consistent run/walk effort for up to 2 miles.
If you are not there yet, start with Week 1 on your own, see how your body feels physically, and join us when you feel ready to move with the group safely and confidently.
what is your ability?
i can walk, but i do not run yet.
