From its first step, District 19 was never just a race—it was a call to reclaim space. Not just for speed, but for soul. Not just to run, but to remember why we move in the first place.
Now in its sixth year, District Running Collective invites you back to the streets for a deeper kind of marathon—one rooted in purpose, built on community, and powered by the people.
Here, pace is secondary. Presence is everything.
About DISTRICT 19
Whether you’re tackling the 19-Miler, cruising through the 19K, or sprinting the 5K - we invite you to move with meaning. This race is about showing up unapologetically yourself and running as a form of activism. Every mile in District 19 is an act of bold movement - for ourselves and for our city.
From start line to finish, District 19 creates space for joy, struggle, and transformation. This race is about more than time splits. It’s about the energy we carry, the causes we uplift, and the legacy we build. It’s where personal achievement meets collective impact.
This year, we’re blazing new trails as District Running Collective grows into deeper community engagement—through youth programs, wellness initiatives, and reinvestment in our neighborhoods - your participation helps fuel that momentum.
Running is pride.
Running is protest.
Running is power.

You can think of it as a normal weekend long run where everyone has the same route as you. Both courses will start and end at the same location and there will be course markers along the way to guide you.

Seeding Times + Corral Waves
In order to ensure a safe start in the 19 Miler, 19K and 5K, we will be lining up runners into corrals based on submitted times at race sign-up. Corrals will be released in increments to avoid crowding throughout the race. Therefore, it is important that runners adhere to their designated corral and do not show up early during other start times. Individuals that do not submit a time will be placed in the last corral of the race.
