Code of Conduct
Community Behavior Expectations
Respect Everyone: Treat all individuals—regardless of race, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, ability, or background—with dignity and kindness.
Support the Crew: We run as a community. Offer encouragement, look out for one another, and help maintain a positive group spirit.
Speak Up: If you witness or experience something inappropriate, speak to a DRC leader or use the reporting channels below. Silence allows harm to continue.
Running Etiquette
Before the Run: Arrive early, check in, listen to pre-run announcements, and line up with your appropriate pace group.
During the Run:
Run on the correct side of the street/path as directed by the group lead.
Be mindful of traffic, pedestrians, and other runners.
Use respectful language and personal space with fellow runners.
Notify a run leader if someone needs help or falls behind.
After the Run: Cool down, socialize respectfully, and thank your pacers and volunteers.
Zero Tolerance Policy on Harassment & Misconduct
DRC has a strict zero-tolerance policy for the following:
Harassment, intimidation, or unwanted attention
Inappropriate or aggressive behavior toward any individual

If you engage in any of the above behaviors:
