Taco Run is BACK. District Running Collective is teaming up with Resident Runners NYC to bring their legendary Taco Run series back to DC for the first time since pre-pandemic days. Whether you're here for the miles or just showing up for the post-run vibes, this event is for the everyone.
Start the morning with your choice of a long run at 7AM or a social 5K at 8:30AM, then stick around for the real party. At 10AM, we flip the switch with a post-run day party at the newly opened Bodega Taqueria y Tequila, located in the heart of Dupont. With a speakeasy-style space that's already making noise in DC’s nightlife scene, Bodega is quickly becoming one of the city’s go-to destinations—and now, we’re adding our run flavor to the mix.
Enjoy taco and drink specials, great people, and a full vibe provided by Friends on Mars (DRC) and Rahsaan (Bedford Corners).
Parking: Ride share (Uber / Lyft), Metro Station Foggy Bottom (5 min walk) or neighborhood street parking.

Timeline
7:00AM - 7:30AM
Long Run Arrive + Check-In
Runners will meet and get checked in with DRC Captains for our Long Run option. The two mileage choices are a 15 Mile option and 8 mile option.
8:30AM - 9:00AM
5K Run Arrive + Check-In
Runners will meet and get checked in with DRC Captains and Flight Crew for our Short Run option. Bodega doors will not be open until 10am so please come prepared to run.
10AM - 2:00PM
Day Party Vibes
Stay to mingle, meet new people and celebrate the summer. Both the front restaurant and speak easy will be open to DRC. Drink specials will be offered. Vibes curated by Friends on Mars and Rahsaan (Bedford Corners).
